French Cafe

Live your life like a scene from a film. Surround yourself in images unseen, apart from onscreen, and get a genuine kick in the process!

I’m sure you all know the feeling of seeing a film set or an icon familiar to you from being featured in a movie. The first time you see it in real life, it gives you a real rush of feeling just like you were the one on the silver screen yourself… or is that just me?

Like the French say, it’s déjà vu, the already-seen, and you don’t need a French lesson London to be familiar with this concept or vocabulary. I feel this way whenever I get the chance to visit the café of Les Deux Moulins, a small café on a Paris hill, just around the corner from another of the city’s famous landmarks, the Moulin Rouge.

This unassuming Montmartre café rocketed to a status of international recognition after being featured in the film Amélie as the workplace of the gorgeous Amélie, played by French actress Audrey Tautou. The tobacco counter haven of the hypochondriac Georgette is no longer tacked onto the side of the bar, but nudge-nudge-wink-wink, the infamous toilets are still exactly how you’d imagine them!

I find that seeing such sites is just one aspect of the wonders of travel, and with a bit of language background, any travel experience is all the richer. Wherever and whenever I find myself on the road, I’ve always done the necessary research – whether it be taking a German lesson London, Italian lesson London or Spanish lesson London before embarking on the journey. Often language study can be an essential element of the trip, such as setting off for Spanish courses Spain and then seeing what you can discover from there!

It doesn’t matter if you’re searching for a recognisable film set, a Spanish course Spain or even staying closer to home and taking an Italian class London. There’s so much to be seen and enjoyed all throughout the world!
