The Magna Carta

Middle Ages
AD 500 to 1509.

With collapse of the Roman Empire in the 5th century the Barbarians created new kingdoms. Based on a feudal system of economics, government and culture The middle ages (Medieval) reached its height in the 11th–13th centuries. The Roman Catholic Church was the predominant spiritual and political power. They clashed with royalty since over the of the power of the Popes. it was a time of emerging royalty, poor peasants, fortified castles, knights,  chivalry, Vikings, cathedrals, plagues, heresy, inquisitions,  crusades, emerging trade, universities and the growth of individual towns . The Middle Ages declined as the Feudal System failed, papal authority waned,  population declined and people looked for new leadership.
