These three conditions have always plagued humans. Until
recently they occurred as a result of wars, weather changes,
plagues, territorial disputes, political upheavals, insect
infestations and general discord. Today with the
advent of the industrial and agricultural revolutions, a
whole new dimension has evolved.
Causes of Poverty
Poverty has many complex issues and and causes, they include
lack of safe supply of water and food, low crop yields (
resulting in poor nutrition and supply) civil and
international wars and disputes. Environmentally this
include geographic location such as mountains. deserts,
floods, droughts, snow and ice fields. Other factors include
remoteness, poor infrastructure (plumbing, electricity,
healthcare, schools and job opportunities). Perhaps one of
the worst and avoidable is the result of political
instability and governance. My recommendations are to see
those affected to be fellow humans and treat them with love
understanding. Move them to acceptable areas. Provide them
with decent well paying jobs. Governments need to guarantee
them an income, a place to live and adequate food.
Causes of Homelessness
Homelessness has several causes such as, lack of affordable
housing, low personal income, lack of public benefits,
inadequate healthcare and related programs. All these
factors result in people living in tents, on the streets,
public parks and woods.
Causes of Hunger Food Insecurity
Hunger like homeliness also has many related causes such as
the high cost of food, lack of available food supplies. marginal
food security,
income, health, and geography
restrictions.
Government restrictions in areas of conflict and dispute.
People are starving, in poor health and desperate.
Government both local and internationally must never use
food as a source of warfare, political and diplomatic
pressures. ,No adult or child should ever suffer the pains
of hunger so that a business, government or individual can
make money, or gain power or authority.
