| Parenting is the
foundation for any society.
Their care can determine
whether a country, society
and yes civilization will
ensure their continuation. |
|
Love them unconditionally no matter what the
situation. |
|
Be a parent not a friend when dealing with them. |
|
Be patient, your children will grow
and change as the years go by! |
|
Be involved. Take part in your
child's life. Be there in the good and bad times! |
|
Teach them how to dial 911 and if in
trouble how to tell them their
location first! |
|
Make time for them. Nothing is
more important than your children! |
|
Be consistent and fair. Take a
balance approach to your punishment.
Don't change your rules unless you
find what you are trying to
accomplish is not working. |
|
Provide a feeling of security.
Children respond positively if they
feel that they can find a place of
safety in their home. |
|
You control what they see and
hear. It is your home and you should
be in charge of what occurs. |
|
Listen before you give advise. Be
patient and hear what is said but
bear in mind that some children can
be manipulative. |
|
Answer questions simply and
honestly. Don't jump to conclusions
and assume you know all the facts. |
|
If you make a mistake, admit it
and move forward. |
|
You and the child need not be afraid to seek help.
Talk to the counselors, teachers and
state officials. |
|
Tell them not to talk to strangers and if
approach to scream and run away. |
|
Let them play in groups! |
|
Teach them their home address for security and
safety. |
|
Remind them to never accept gifts, money or a
ride from a stranger. |
|
As a parent you will be their first teacher. A
majority of a child's mental development and learning
will take place in the years before their first day of
school! |
|
Because of AI and the manipulations that now
involving the internet think twice before you post their
picture or information on any site! |
