Physical Education Curriculum
Physical Education: The Curriculum in which the students learn how to build their bodies, maintain fitness and understand the values of working as a group. In 1820 many schools introduced when schools started providing instruction in gymnastics, hygiene and general health care along with human body development. The YMCA was one of the first organizations that offered a form of PE and by 1950 numerous schools and other organizations followed suite until over 400 institutions made it part of their activities.
