1. Always stay positive, neutral and supportive of your students in your class, lectures, instruction and management!
2. Keep your instruction using the KIS approach. Keep It Simple. Not by dummying it down but making it easy to understand and administer.
3. Add humor to your approach in your lectures, administration and communication.
4. Make your materials, lectures and approach fact and skill based.
 5. Connect your lessons with all forms of literature and media. But beware of misinformation and disinformation.
6. Teach them to always think and analyze all information and materials regardless of source.
7. Always look for additional information, ideas and materials.
8. Use technology to enhance your teaching skills, but not to dominate it!
9. Don't hesitate to bring in outside experts and field trips.
10. Provide avenues of research and various forms of inquires.
11. Encourage civil debate and discussions
12. Never discourage or ridicule  a students opinions, but don't hesitate to help them understated fact from fiction and misinformation 
13. Use audio visual materials provided they are accurate, high quality and previewed by you.
