“Football
Is an honest game. It's true to life . It's a game about sharing.
Football is a team game. So is life.
Joe Namath
A game played with a ball on a
rectangular field, 100 yards in length, with goal lines and goal posts at
either end. Opposing teams of 11 players each attempt to gain possession
of the ball and advance it by means of running and passing plays across
the opponent's goal line. A team doing so scores a touchdown, worth six
points, and then has the opportunity to kick the ball over the goalpost
crossbar for one extra point.

Football Dictionary A high percentage of retired professional football players
suffer from emotional, physical, psychological and social problems.
Amateur
"The word amateur has
at least two connotations. In the first, more widely used manner, it
means someone performing some task without pay, in contrast to a
"professional" who would be paid for the same task. In this sense,
labeling someone an "amateur" can have a negative connotation. For
example, amateur athletes in sports such as basketball or football
would not be regarded as having ability on par with professional
athletes in those sports." Source: .wikipedia
Professional
"A
professional works to receive payment for an activity
(as a profession), which usually requires expertise and
carries with it socially significant mores and folkways.
That is to say, behaving professionally would indicate
that the person's actions remain in accordance with
specific rules, written or unwritten, pertaining to
behavior, dress, speech, etc. By extension, the
adjective professional can indicate that someone has
great expertise or skill in a craft or activity."

Tips
"Good
defensive linemen must have quick hands. If they don't they will
likely struggle getting past defenders. If you play on the line make
sure you add drills to your training routine that work on hand & arm
quickness." Source:
