"War is an armed conflict between the armed forces of states, or between governmental forces and armed groups that are organized under a certain command structure and have the capacity to sustain military operations, or between such organized groups.. It is generally characterized by widespread violence, destruction, and mortality, using regular or irregular military forces. War aims typically involve the pursuit of political, economic, or territorial objectives. Warfare refers to the common activities and characteristics of types of war, or of wars in general. Total war is warfare that is not restricted to purely legitimate military targets, and can result in massive civilian or other non-combatant suffering and casualties." War has always been a facet of human history. We have fought either individually, as neighbors, towns, cities, states, countries, and empires. The causes are numerous, they range from the desire for food, reproduction resources, and personal disputes. In a broader perspective we have fought over resources, religion, trade, land, wealth, empire building, security, fear, ideological differences, nationalism identity and finally poor leadership. Today we face psychological wars, cold wars, civil wars, wars between individual nations and states, coalitions, spies  vs spies. limited intrusions militarily, economically and politically. Undeclared wars with no actual declaration, cause or end result. Even popular entertainment venues such as Star Trek, Star Wars and other SCI FI shows many times views war as part of our future. But the end result is and will be the loss of life (both civilian and military), the raping and sexually assault of women and men, the destruction of property, the thef of resources and wealth, the spreading of fear and terror and finally the misery of all involved. I don't know if we as humans will ever end this horrible ways of existence. One can only hope!,
“Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime.” Ernest Hemingway
