Light Meter Buying Guide
PhotographyA light meter is used to measure the amount of light needed to determining the correct exposure of an image. Today they have a built in computer that either digitally or analogically advise the photographer to determine the proper shutter speed and f-stop. They come in two forms either built into the camera or as a hand held device. The photographer will use this device mainly as a supportive tool. His knowledge of the camera and experience should always determine the use. Check our Light Meters to view the different forms of Light Meters
